Greetings from a very hot day at Epcot! Today, we decided to check in on the Guardians of the Galaxy – Cosmic Rewind construction site. You can read about the last time we checked in on the project here.
The first view everyone gets of the site is aboard the Monorail coming from the Transportation and Ticket Center into the park. In the photo above, you can see this is the rear part of the building where the roller coaster trains will be stored.
From inside the park on the ground level, this is all you can currently see as a guest.
Going back up to monorail view, we see work continuing on the attraction facade and the area where a Xandarian ship will greet guests.
For now, the area is being used to stage materials.
The most notable progress we saw today was the finished portions of the new paint job on the left side of the building.
Things seem to be coming along pretty well considering that the projected opening date for this attraction is not until 2021!
Thanks for reading and stay tuned for more updates from WDWNT on the Guardians of the Galaxy attraction at Epcot!
wow did you see all the tree clearing in front of the wonders of life in the last pic!
