Christmas ornaments aplenty are available now at the Disney Parks, but six very special pieces to hang from your tree have just arrived.
These six new ornaments are part of the Disney Parks 2019 Artist Series, limited edition ornaments feature decorative glass blown ornaments, each designed by a different Disney Parks artist. You might already be familiar with many of the artist’s work from their pieces in the Art of Disney or their work on pins and other merchandise. Let’s take a closer look at each of these unique designs!
“Silly Symphony” Mickey Mouse – $34.99
Mistro Mickey Mouse is shown here in his “Silly Symphony” costume.
This white glass blown ornament features the scene hand painted onto the glass, with red music notes swirling around him with various instruments.
This ornament is a limited release of 2,304 and is designed by Randy Noble.
Tinker Bell – $34.99
Tinker Bell can be seen here flying across this dark green ornament. A trail of pixie dust follows her around the globe.
On the other side, Tink can be seen in her traditional sassy pose. This ornament definitely shows off the duality of this pixie.
This ornament is a limited release of 2,208 and is designed by Costa Alavezos.
Hakuna Matata – $34.99
It means no worries! Here we see Timon, Pumba and Simba during that iconic scene in “Hakuna Matata”.
The other side shows the time lapse, just like in the film, with a grown up Simba.
This ornament was designed by Maria Stuckey and is a limited release of 2,064.
Lady and the Tramp – $34.99
This Lady and the Tramp ornament shows off the texture of the pet’s fur in intricate detail for a hand painted ornament. The two are showed here, nestled under the Christmas tree.
We couldn’t get a good look of the back, but we can see Trusty on the other side as well.
This ornament was designed by Alex Maher and has a limited release of 2,016.
“Winter Storage” Donald Duck – $34.99
Donald Duck here is out looking for the perfect tree, just like he is in the short “Winter Storage”, where Chip and Dale cause him all sorts of trouble.
Donald can be seen here walking through the snow against a light blue background, as the snow falls down.
This ornament was designed by Brian Blackmore and is a limited release of 2,160.
Sorcerer Mickey – $34.99
Sorcerer Mickey here can be seen here against a magical golden background, with a magical swirl around him.
The pixie dust here is accentuated here with glitter added on top.
Darren Wilson designed this ornament, which is a limited release of 2,064.
