The Camera Center at Epcot has closed its doors, and will remain closed for a few months as part of all the changes taking place at the front of the park. Before they closed, we decided to take one last look around the store. We know it will look quite different when it reopens, so take a tour with us on what was its last day and see just how this small little shop under Spaceship Earth used to look!
As you walk into the park and under Spaceship Earth, the Camera Center is located on your right and Gateway Gifts to the left. This shop was easily passed by, but was used for viewing PhotoPass photos and ordering prints, or other custom items.
This was also the location for finding your Leave a Legacy and, more importantly, swapping out your Fuel Rod.
Guests could stop by the Camera Center to view their PhotoPass pictures, buy Memory Maker, or buy prints of their photos. This has been moved over by Pin Central now.
The store offered phone cases, MagicBands, and a random selection of other merchandise and snacks. You could even find batteries and disposable cameras here.
The floor had the Epcot logo, hidden in plain sight.
A quick look at the ceiling, too.
When the store reopens, it’s going to be a lot different, so we’ll be eager to see the differences. For a full tour of the location, be sure to check out our video.
Such a sad little store.
