It’s October, and the monsters are out and about. We’ve come across a few “Monsters, Inc.” themed treats lately, but this one might just be our favorite. The Artist’s Palette at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort now has a Mike and Sulley Cookie Butter, and we’re screaming.
This is such a unique treat. There’s a large scoop of Nilla Wafer cookie butter, topped with sprinkles, and it’s served with two sugar cookie dipping sticks. We spotted Mike and Sulley right away. These are such cute and decorative cookies, you almost don’t want to eat them. Mike has his signature one giant eyeball, and tiny horns. Sulley is blue frosting with purple spots, sugar eyes, and frosting horns.
The cookie butter is delicious, smooth, and creamy. The flavor is similar to a sugar cookie taste, just a stronger flavor. This cookie butter might just give the Cookie Dough Truck at Disney Springs a run for their money.
The sugar cookies are incredible, and we would totally buy more cookies if they were sold individually. The cookies might actually have been better than the cookie butter, which is really saying something. Mike tasted a little better than Sulley, but they were both soft and fresh, and tasted great on their own or dipped in the cookie butter.
This is a really cute, decorative dessert that switches things up from the typical cupcake offerings in the bakery case. We like seeing a variety, and this is one we highly recommend. It’s so good, it’s scary.
