Welcome home! Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort is currently refreshing and renovating its rooms, following along with other refurbishments across property like at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.
We had the opportunity to take a tour of a 2-bedroom villa. The new rooms look beautiful, with everything from new flooring to new appliances installed. Check out all the changes below.
There’s a nice little dining area, with new table and chairs. The mirrored artwork on the wall and belted chandelier give the area a nice look.
The kitchen area is very spacious, with all-new appliances.
The living room has lovely furniture, and space for more people to sleep. You can see the handles on the wall to pull the extra bed out. This murphy bed looks similar to the ones being installed in the upcoming Disney’s Riviera Resort.
There’s even another murphy bed hidden beneath the TV featuring a racehorse scene from a classic Disney cartoon.
There’s a porch, and some rooms have beautiful views of Disney Springs.
The main bedrooms are still carpeted, but now feature luggage space beneath the beds, as well as all-new furnishings.
The room looks modern, yet cozy with its mix of a leather headboard with gold-tone accents and a plaid curtain.
Plenty of space under the bed for luggage storage.
Bedside lighting includes outlets and USB ports for charging.
A cozy armchair with footrest is great for lounging.
Both bedrooms have sleek new ceiling fans over the bed, which is a nice touch.
There is also a TV and dresser in the room.
The shower and toilet is separate from the side with the bath tub and large vanity area. The side with the bath tube has a huge mirror, complete with back lighting, sink, and a light-up makeup mirror.
There is a closet with a safe, iron, ironing board, and a crib.
There’s a shower on the other side, with a smaller sink and mirror, as well as access to the toilet.
The showers have double shower heads.
The toilet is tucked away on its own behind another door.
There’s a double sink in the second bathroom as well as a makeup mirror.
There’s a shower and tub combo, with a toilet in a separate part of the bathroom.
The second bedroom has two beds with cotton canvas floral headboards.
Plenty of outlets on the lamp bases.
There’s even more plugs on the side of dressers.
There’s a lot of subtle Disney touches around the room if you take a look around. The first set of newly- refurbished rooms are now open, and they’re beautiful. Remodeling work is set to run through 2021, with the first set of preferred buildings in the Congress Park section of the resort getting worked on first.
Be sure to check out our full video tour the room below:
What do you think of these newly remodeled Saratoga rooms?
Wow, what an improvement!
No bubble tub? Starting to get a little worried that they’re taking those out of the DVC rooms. They are such a big aemenity to have!
I agree ! I love relaxing in the jetted tub after a long day at the parks. I’m so sad to see that they have been removed at SSR.
I beleave there are to difficult to clean the jets. After 15 years I can imagine they were pretty gross
This is amazing!
I kept saying this was a sleeper of a DVC resort. Anyone who bought in resale is getting a killer deal. Has a great quick service, wonderful management, lots of good pools and is rarely crowded. This update looks fantastic. The team should be proud of their work.
Love love love!
Are the studios being updated? Was in one last week and it was still the old worn-out one.
Did the villas at The Grandstand get refurbished? Where are the best villas, we’ll be there end of this month. First time staying at Saratoga Springs.
