Black Tap is known for over its over-the-top food, especially when it comes to their milkshakes. Back in July, they had a limited time shake that we loved, so expectations were high. Luckily, this shake did not let us down. They describe the shake as a “chocolate-based milkshake with a vanilla-frosted rim covered in candy corn topped with a chocolate ‘spider-web’ cupcake, orange rock candy, orange and white twisty pop, whipped cream, orange sprinkles and chocolate drizzle.”

The shake itself was easy enough to take apart after you get your array of photos. (You know, for the ‘gram.) The ‘spider-web’ cupcake was delicious. It was chocolatey, but not overly sweet. The candy pops out and we suggest grabbing a side plate to store your toppings.

The actual shake was just a simple chocolate flavor, which we enjoyed. The whipped cream added some texture, but wasn’t overly sweet. If you are a fan of candy corn, then you can pop those off for enjoyment. If you are not a fan, then they stay right where they are on the frosted glass.
