REVIEW: New Vegan Plant-Based Mickey Waffles Now Available All-Day at Disney’s Pop Century Resort

Walt Disney World has been adding a wide variety of plant-based options to their menus around the parks and resorts, and we’ve been eating our way through them, just for you.

Today, we came across something exciting and couldn’t wait to bring you all the details. Vegan Plant-Based Mickey Waffles have arrived at Pop Century! That’s right, Mickey waffles that are completely plant-based are now available all day from Everything POP Shopping and Dining.

The order of plant-based waffles costs $9.99 and comes with a side of breakfast potatoes, to keep things vegan.

The waffles are made in a completely separate waffle maker, set off away from the main line of waffle makers. This is nice to see, so there is less of a chance of confusion or cross-contamination.

I did have to wait a few minutes for them to make them fresh, but we are always happy to wait for fresh Mickey waffles. The Cast Members told me they thought the first batch they made came out too soft, and asked me to wait while they made another batch. I actually appreciate that they cared enough to ask me to wait so they could serve me something good, rather than just hand me the first batch they made. Thank you, because they were worth the wait!

I love Mickey waffles in any form. These took me by surprise and were actually quite good. The order comes with 3, but the Cast Members gave me an extra one for waiting. The first two waffles I ate I loved, and ate them plain without syrup or toppings. They reminded me a bit of corn bread, and were very filling. When I tried one with syrup, the center of the waffle became a little bit more like batter, but I think that waffle may have been a bit undercooked as well. I preferred them without the syrup.

This meal was actually satisfying, and one of the few where I was truly full by the end of it. We’re excited that Mickey waffles can be enjoyed by everyone now, whether you stick with the classics or go for the new plant-based options. Will you be popping into Pop Century to give these a try?

For those curious as to the ingredients of the vegan Mickey Waffles found here and at most quick service locations across property, here’s a look at the ingredients page:

The waffles are cooked to order and can be made with or without Rice Milk per your dietary preferences.

Thanks for the info! Do you know if these are gluten-free as well?

Yea no. I’ll continue the golden malt mickey waffles until I die. That said, providing options for an ever changing population is a good thing for sure.
