VIDEO: New “Forever” Tribute Tag Added to One Man’s Dream II: The Magic Lives On at Tokyo Disneyland

One Man’s Dream II: The Magic Lives On is the longest-running stage show ever at Tokyo Disney Resort, having served a grand 15.5 year run by the time its end comes in December. Come January, we’ll be seeing It’s Very Minnie at the Showbase! Widely beloved by Guests, the show celebrates the legacy of Walt Disney through his characters and creations. Since the show will be taking its final bow in just under two months, a special tag has been added! This tag celebrates the show’s life with the original English rendition of One Man’s Dream, written by Bruce Healey! The tag debuted October 15th, completely unannounced. Check it out below!

I think it’s a nice addition to the show for its finale. I’m a fan of the original One Man’s Dream show from the ’80s, and seeing the original paid tribute like this feels like the show has come full circle. The show itself is definitely a relic of a less poppy Disney, more reminiscent of its soft, ’70s-’00s style. I presume this will run through its final show on December 13th, 2019.
