Welcome to a perfectly overcast day here at the Magic Kingdom. We’re here and ready for a busy afternoon full of meet and greets, attraction overlays, and other changes around the park. Let’s get started.
The structure outside of the entrance is taking shape nicely. This is part of the arrival experience enhancements here at the Magic Kingdom.
The parade has just ended, and people are flooding each direction. We’ve headed into Tomorrowland, along with most of Main Street.
PeopleMover was an actual 25 minute wait. We timed it.
Meanwhile, Astro Orbiter was empty. At the very same time the line for PeopleMover was wrapped all over, nobody seemed to be interested in Astro Orbiter.
More props have been added to the Tomorrowland Speedway Christmas party overlay since our last visit. Twinkling stars and diamond shapes can be spotted around the track now, making us even more excited to experience it at the party.
We’re not enjoying these plain white walls inside Mickey’s Star Traders. They look creepy with the lighting.
The final piece of the outdoor track for TRON Lightcycle Run has just been installed. The launch will take guests outside along this portion of track before re-entering at the top of the building. Be sure to check out our most recent update on this new addition to the track.
Gaston has updated his look for his meet and greet outside of Bonjour Village Gifts. He told us that he was hoping a change would catch Belle’s attention. He’s just as full of himself now as ever, but we wouldn’t want him any other way.
These cards inside Pinocchio Village Haus are fun on a busy day. Hold them up to the windows of “it’s a small world” and watch the action.
The crowds aren’t terrible, but I think it’s time for me to get out of here. Thanks for joining us around the Magic Kingdom, and stay tuned for more updates.
