This year, BaseLine Tap House at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is going sweet for the holidays! Two specialty cookies are available to enjoy for the season: Elsa’s Magical Macarons and Gingerbread Cookies! Both items are shared with Market at Pixar Place. Let’s bake up some fun and try them out!
Elsa’s Magical Macarons – $7.99
These colorful macarons come five to a pack, and feature some very regal colors inspired by Elsa’s look.
Both the blue and the gold macarons are the same flavor, filled with milk chocolate and vanilla swirl icing, and painted with sparkly edible gold paint.
They sure do take a nice picture, especially with the Echo Lake Christmas tree as a backdrop!
As for taste, well, they’re nothing special. They’re very sweet, but otherwise unremarkable. They sure are pretty to look at, though.
Gingerbread Cookies – $5.69
These cookies, which come two to an order, feature a royal icing, with a milk chocolate candy cane and gingerbread man with milk chocolate-covered wafer balls. There’s no difference in the flavors of the two cookies.
The cookies are nothing special, either. The royal icing has a sugary flavor, just like the tarts at Woody’s Lunch Box. Aside from the pretty decoration, these are just your standard gingerbread cookie.
