Welcome to another beautiful morning here at the Magic Kingdom. The morning started off rainy, but quickly turned to blue skies. It’s a practically perfect day to be here, so let’s get going.
Mary and Bert were strolling around the hub and greeting guests. No wonder the sun started shining.
We’re here for a very special reason, so we make our way to Liberty Square first. “The Muppets Present… Great Moments in American History” has returned for a limited time engagement. The Ride of Paul Revere will be presented daily through the holiday season, so be sure to hurry over and catch them while you can. We’re thrilled they’re back, but it’s going to be another heartbreak when we see the final performance. If you won’t make it out to see the show, we’ve got you covered with photos and videos of their return. Can we please just let them stay?
Guests visiting the park have the chance to experience all of the attraction holiday overlays daily now. We quite enjoyed a ride on the PeopleMover with the lights and sounds added to Space Mountain.
The Kakamora Float was being offered all day at Aloha Isle in Adventureland.
But many other holiday snack foods have already been removed from menus. We already miss the holiday cookie sundae.
The Vegetable Rice Bowl at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Café has changed slightly. It’s now served with onions and peppers rather than squash and zucchini.
Inside Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café, we did a double take and began to question where we were. We spotted Cast Members serving drinks and cups of water in these cups from Galaxy’s Edge. They may have received the cups by mistake, but the Cast Members were unsure about it. Either way, it was a strange sight to see at the Magic Kingdom.
Some new merchandise has arrived at the Emporium, including this new “Park Life” shirt for $49.99.
Big Feet Groot plush are also available in the Emporium for $26.99.
New attractions company hats are also available for $27.99 each. They’re both pretty amazing. We thought it was interesting the Mr. Toad hat said “Walt Disney World” on the back.
The crowds are pretty intense today. Guests were lining up early for the parade this afternoon.
After the parade, it’s sometimes best to just find a corner and hide until the sea of people has settled.
Many of the attractions have long lines that spill out of the queue. Even the Fastpass queue for Splash Mountain had an extended queue.
“it’s a small world” was at a 45 minute wait.
There are even lines for turkey legs! That’s right. These people are waiting for turkey legs and pretzels from Prince Eric’s Village Market.
More lines.
We did find a lot of characters out today. Alice and Mad Hatter were out together.
Chip and Dale were causing mischief over near the exit of Splash Mountain.
Chip wanted all the attention.
Cast Members can be real characters, too. Over at Tortuga Tavern, we spotted this Cast Member entertaining guests and making them laugh. He was even offering to take photos with guests, so decided to take him up on the offer, too.
The Frontier Trading Post post has been repaired, too. It’s had a box around it lately, but that’s gone and it’s looking pretty fresh.
That’s about all for our busy day here at the Magic Kingdom. Keep following for all the latest updates on the parks!
