There has been a lot of construction at Disney Springs’ West Side. Today, we stopped by to get an update on what is going on.
From the moment you walk out of the Orange Garage, you can see the shell of what used to be Bongos.
All the main walls have been removed and it looks very eerie from a distance.
Beatrix signs are all over the walls here, advertising the new restaurant.
The old dining patios upstairs look out of place against the backdrop of what could easily pass as a Hollywood disaster movie set piece.
From the food truck staging area, the emptiness of the building is even more apparent.
The rear of the building has also been blown out, and the insides reveal metal framing and insulation that just hangs in place.
From above, we can see some of the work that’s going on behind the walls.
Plenty of demolition work remains for this site ahead of its transformation into Beatrix.
The former Curl shop remains empty, but we can see the interior has been gutted inside for a future addition.
Across the walkway from the Beatrix site, work on the new Ample Hills location is progressing slowly.
Work could also be seen going on for the new Cirque du Soleil show.
Contractors were on site working on new stairway railings while interior work continued as well.
City Works also seems to be coming along ahead of its opening. The most prominent addition here is its new logo signage at one of the entrances.
The sounds of construction equipment was quite prevalent from behind the teal walls.
That about does it for out updates here at Disney Springs. Which location are you most looking forward to visiting when they open?
