PHOTOS: New “Finding Nemo” Character Art Added to West Park Entrance Bypass Walkway, Now Nearing Completion at EPCOT

Work on the recently confirmed EPCOT park entrance bypass walkway near the future Moana – Journey of Water site is now nearing completion. Today, we took a closer look at the site’s progress.

Guests approaching The Seas with Nemo and Friends are currently greeted by moving planters and construction walls.

A closer look at the planters that recently were empty are starting to be filled with dirt and mulch, possibly pointing to new foliage going in soon.

From above, we can see that some of them remain empty while new wiring is installed.

Next to the planters, we can see where the pathway will empty out by The Seas with Nemo and Friends.

The brightly colored Moana-themed walls go well with the other construction wall displays around various projects throughout EPCOT.

New character art featuring Crush from Finding Nemo and the Turtle Talk with Crush attraction beckons guests to “Dive Into The Seas”.

While most of the pavement is down, equipment is still plentiful throughout the area, while more wall pieces are being moved into place.

The pathway ends where the current Cast Member walkway is located.

It is possible that this pathway will be connected to the overhang near the Pluto meet-and-greet in the park entrance.
