Walt Disney World Pulling Latest “Park Life” MagicBands from Store Shelves Due to Issues Synching with My Disney Experience

After having been released this morning at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the latest “Park Life” Magic Kingdom-themed MagicBands are now being pulled from the shelves due to issues connecting with My Disney Experience.

A guest who purchased the band earlier today had to seek help at the park’s Guest Relations window after the band kept failing to connect to their MDE account. Guest Services is refunding all guests who purchased the MagicBand and have instructed Cast Members at The Darkroom to pull the rest of the stock from the shelves.

If these issues sound familiar, it’s because similar connectivity issues plagued the popular MagicBand slap bracelets that were released back in November. While many of the bands were pulled, a few eventually made their way back onto store shelves, so it’s possible they may be able to fix issues with the bands and return them to stores.
