Today while exploring Disney’s Animal Kingdom (and the China Pavilion at EPCOT), we found that all of the 2020 Lunar New Year merchandise has made its way to Walt Disney World! Let’s check it out.
Men’s T-Shirt – $29.99
This bright red t-shirt features Mickey operating a dragon puppet, along with Donald, Goofy, and Pluto joining his parade.
Women’s T-Shirt – $36.99
This bright read ladies cut t-shirt features Minnie operating a dragon puppet and standing next to Mickey. They are surrounded by sparkly gold text and lantern patterns.
Annual Passholder T-Shirt – $29.99
This t-shirt is a baseball style shirt with a bright red bottom and white sleeves. Chip and Dale dance across the front of the shirt to wish you a Happy New Year! This shirt is $29.99, but you can use your Annual Passholder discount on it.
Lunar New Year Spirit Jersey – $69.99
This bright red Spirit Jersey shows the Disney’s Lunar New Year logo across the back with a bright gold print all across the bottom. The front shows a Mickey head with a dragon, a sun, and the Walt Disney World logo.
Lunar New Year Minnie Ears – $29.99
These Minnie ears have a sparkly black fabric all over with a pink butterfly and charm to one side and a flower charm on the other. They are beautiful for celebrating the New Year and all year round!
Longevity Noodle Company Hat – $29.99
This baseball hat has a great stitched pattern across the front that reads “Longevity Noodle Co 2020.” The side has the Lunar New Year logo, and across the back it says “Walt Disney World.”
Mickey Plush – $29.99
This adorable Mickey plush features him in his Lunar New Year best. He looks sweet and happy to be celebrating.
Minnie Plush – $29.99
Mickey’s precious pair Minnie is also in her Lunar New Year best. Her cute blue and pink outfit is perfect for a celebration.
Lunar New Year Mug – $19.99
This mug is a bright red background with lots of gold accents. One side shows Mickey and Minnie in their Lunar New Year outfits and the other side shows Chip and Dale in their holiday outfits. The mug comes with a lid with a little molded handle
Lunar New Year Keychain – $9.99
The key chain is a double sided yellow fan design with Mickey and Minnie on one side and Chip and Dale on the other, also in their Lunar New Year outfits.
Light Up Lantern Wand – $19.99
The light up plastic wand is also red and gold and features a hanging lantern bauble with Mickey waving a puppet. It lights up with the push of a button and flashes in three different patterns.
Lunar New Year Red Packets – $9.99
This package of 6 red paper envelopes is perfect for giving a Disney touch to Lunar New Year gifts. Two of each pattern comes in the package. One features Chip and Dale, one with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, and Daisy in a parade coming from a castle, and the third has Huey, Dewey, and Louie watching a top spin.
Door Decoration – $6.99
This large door decoration has Mickey and Minnie in their Lunar New Year outfits looking welcoming and drawing guests in. It has a string to hang it on the wall or a door or from the ceiling. It has a three-dimensional design with extra elements added to it and some hanging decorative elements.
We found the full collection in both Serka Zong Bazaar, the gift shop for Expedition Everest in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and in the shop at the China pavilion in EPCOT. The plush are also available at The Emporium in Magic Kingdom. We also found Disneyland versions earlier this week.

Gong Xi Fa Cai or Gong Hay Fat Choy! I love the lunar new year’s merchandise especially the spirit jersey! I love exploring the China pavillion but I don’t find the staff as welcoming as in other countries. I know EPCOT likes to have food items from each country but I would be weary about buying any food items produced in China due to their lax food safety standards.
