PHOTOS: New Figment MagicBand Slap Bracelet Soars Into Walt Disney World

UPDATE: Do note that these appear to have been an early release, as a few readers have informed us that these have been pulled from the shelves. Barring any connectivity issues that the previous set of MagicBand Slap Bracelets had, we expect them to return soon!

One little slap of inspiration is at the heart of all creation… Since the initial run of MagicBand Slap Bracelets, we haven’t seen any new additions to the line, but today brings us the imaginative spark of a new slap band featuring none other than the royal purple Figment.

The royal purple band features multicolored squares showing off a wide range of Figment’s emotions, from surprised, to happy, to curious.

On one end, the word “FIGMENT” is written out in his stylized font.

One of the cutest features is of course the interchangeable icon slider, which holds the Mickey RFID puck. The puck is sheathed in a silicone slider themed to Figment, with orange horns of a steer peeking out at the top. Many readers have asked us how the RFID Mickey pucks work on these, and it’s kind of a two-for-one deal with this design as you get the slap bracelet band and an interchangeable icon slider, which means you could potentially attach these to your Apple Watch or other watch band, much like the sliders that are typically sold in many Etsy stores.

These bracelets are surprisingly secure, with magnets at each end to keep the band in place. Do keep in mind that these fit best on smaller wrists, though.

You can find the band at MouseGear for $24.99. While the initial release included bands featuring other retro classics like Orange Bird, the MagicBand Slap Bracelets have had issues with connectivity and many have been pulled from the shelves. The only kind we found at MouseGear were these new Figment bands, which we hope have been programmed with those issues in mind!

Will you be slapping on some inspiration with this new Figment MagicBand Slap Bracelet? Make sure you journey on over to EPCOT before these sell out!
