Tokyo Disneyland & DisneySea Operating Hours Reduced On Select Weekdays Through February 19th

I normally end my articles with “Are you considering or planning a trip to Tokyo Disney Resort?”. Well if this trip is soon, this will absolutely affect you. During the slower winter months, both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea often operate on reduced hours due to low demand or for events. As of January 14th, one or both parks will be closing earlier than the standard 10pm.

On Mondays through Thursdays between January 14th and 29th, Tokyo Disneyland will close at 7pm. Opening times will vary from 8:00am to 10:00am, so be sure to check the official Tokyo Disney Resort website for details. Additionally, Tokyo Disneyland will also close on Friday, January 17th and Friday, January 31st at 6:00pm. Normal operations will resume February 1st.

Tokyo DisneySea’s schedule is a bit more complicated. On Tuesdays through Thursdays between January 15th and 30th, Tokyo DisneySea will close at 7pm. As with Tokyo Disneyland, opening times will vary between 8:00am and 10:00am, so check ahead of your visit. Additionally, the park will close at 6:30pm on Friday, January 24th.

In February, the schedule gets a little less predictable. As such, I will simply list the days the park closes early below.

On the following days, Tokyo DisneySea will close at 7:00PM – February 3rd-5th, 12th-13th, and 17th-19th. Additionally, the park will close at 6:30pm on Friday, February 7th. Normal operations will resume February 20th.

Whew! It’s a bit complicated, but I think we got through it. Please note that on reduced hours days, After-6 Passports will not be sold at Tokyo Disneyland or DisneySea. It’s just that time of year, it seems. But we’ll persevere! What are your thoughts on these early closures? Let us know below or on Twitter!
