Good morning from a frigid EPCOT! Let’s take a run around the countries…
This morning, we took part in the annual RunDisney Princess 5k run. Despite the cold temperatures and constant rain, it is always a treat to see EPCOT early in the morning before the crowds arrive.
In Canada, cast members cheered runners on in the most Canadian way possible.
After the park opened and the race was over, guests were treated to the exceptional music of the Satellite High School jazz band.
Over near Imagination!, a random penny press has been added to this merchandise stand.
Work on the future home of the Flower and Garden Festival butterfly garden continues to move forward.
From the monorail, we can see where the entrance to the annual festival staple will be located. (Hint: It’s the heavy chain curtains, so the butterflies don’t escape!)
Over in front of Starbucks, green railing has been added to complete this planter.
In France, work on the new cobblestone paving continues to take part in stages. This section was blocked off in front of Plume et Palette.
Several other sections were blocked off between the planters as well.
Morocco is getting in the Flower & Garden Festival spirit, thanks to these herb planters being put in place recently.
Thanks to the cold weather this morning, these woven tops in Mexico were a popular item among park guests.
That does it for our visit to EPCOT. Stay tuned to WDWNT as we bring you the latest in Disney parks news.
