Good morning from a very crowded Present’s Day weekend at Magic Kingdom! Let’s take a walk around!
As we entered the park we noticed one of the posters was missing off the wall. We’re looking forward to see what returns here!
Ahoy, mateys! The new “Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction” Pirates of the Caribbean collection launched yesterday! While the ears may have already set sail, there were quite a few items left at The Emporium today, including the MagicBand. Will you be stopping by to snag any of these items?
Let’s see what beauty awaits us inside Main Street Cinema.
This gorgeous LE20 art piece is on display right as you walk in. It was created by Patty Peraza and is available for $2,995.99. What a steal!
This cute detail is right outside of Tony’s Town Square Restaurant. The small details like this scattered throughout the entire Magic Kingdom bring us so much joy!
One of the Citizens of Main Street was admiring these girls taking photos of Cinderella Castle.
There was a steady flow of people pouring into Tomorrowland at Rope Drop this morning! President’s Day weekend is no joke, y’all.
This duck was smart and lined up early for Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin. I bet he got the highest score of the day!
The support beams for the PeopleMover are still in all different stages of construction throughout Tomorrowland.
Once they are completed they looking amazing, though! These supports over by the Tomorrowland Speedway remain untouched since 1975, but are a good indication of what the rest of the supports will look like when the work is completed.
Donald and Goofy have joined the collection of Disney Parks PEZ dispensers! They are available for $4.79 in Star Traders.
Crowds were definitely high throughout the entire park today. The line for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train was posted at 150 minutes.
What do we love to see? The (very brief) return of “The Muppets Present… Great Moments in American History”! We’re sad that it is such a short run, but glad to see it hasn’t disappeared forever.
If you’re trying to get ahead of the rush, you can write your letter to Santa now in Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe!
Our sweet friend, the Spitting Camel, was causing her usual shenanigans today outside The Magic Carpets of Aladdin.
If you missed out on the Limited Release 2019 Passholder Exclusive MagicBand, fear not! There are still some available at Frontier Trading Post.
Splash Mountain’s annual refurbishment is moving right along! Today we noticed some detail painting happening in the round-about.
On this very busy weekend, we found a nice quiet spot near Big Thunder Mountain Railroad to enjoy some serenity.
One of my favorite details in Magic Kingdom is this amazing popcorn cart in Fantasyland!
That wraps up our day! Did you brave the crowds this weekend or are you staying away until it quiets down? Let us know!
Being older my family is old enough to indoor the long lines, I find sitting in the shade and drinking a cold beverage and watching the young families struggling, laughing, arguing or just having a good time is fun to watch, it reminds me of those younger years
