It’s a beautiful day here at the Magic Kingdom, and we can’t wait to see what is new around the park!

Crowds gathered quickly for the Resort Monorail in the morning. The Express Monorail is scheduled to open at 10am due to maintenance, but it ended up remaining closed all morning.

We started off the day right with brand new merchandise from the upcoming film Onward. We’re so excited to see this film!

There’s even an awesome new MagicBand! Let the quest begin!

Next up we checked on the remaining stock of the limited edition Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction line for February. All that remains at the Emporium are the mugs and the MagicBands. It was a very popular collection!

Refurbishments continue to Splash Mountain. We caught an unusual glimpse of the backside of the scrim while checking on the rest of the area behind the ride for changes.

Construction on TRON Lightcycle Run is moving right along! There has been lots of activity here recently, with new equipment moved in and tents errected to protect it.

The moat around Cinderella Castle has been blocked off in two places, no doubt in preparation for the upcoming refurbishments to the Castle’s paint job.

These preparations appeared a few days ago ahead of the refurbishment announcement, but now all the pieces are falling into place.

On our way out, we saw roof support panels have been installed on this structure in the middle of the construction outside of the gates.
