PHOTOS: New Attraction-Themed Valentine’s Day Photo Props Celebrate Love, Friendship, and Bananas at EPCOT
Today is Valentine’s Day, and there’s no better place to celebrate the day of love and friendship than at Walt Disney World… and what could be more romantic than construction walls at EPCOT? Luckily, the Cast Members throughout the park have come up with cute and inventive new photo props themed to attractions and World Showcase pavilions, making for perfect pit stops with your valentine. Check out all of the new props below, and plan out your perfect after-work date for some Valentine’s Day fun at EPCOT.
Test Track may be closed for refurbishment currently, but Cast Members are stationed outside with these fun “You Drive Me Wild” and “You Fuel My Heart” signs.
Whether you’re Orange Team or Green Team, you can both slingshot around the moon with this creative prop.
Will you be my Capcom?
Living with the Land
Regardless of what we think of banana republics, this Living with the Land prop (presented by Chiquita) drives us bananas.
Better yet is this “You Make My Heart Blossom” sign.
Despite this being one of our favorite attractions, the Spaceship Earth sign seemed somewhat uninspired. They could’ve gone with something like “I Choose You For My Future” or “If You Can Read This Valentine, Thank The Phoenicians”, but instead they went with “My Favorite Time Traveler!”
Journey into Imagination with Figment
Ask Figment for dating advice, and he’ll tell you it only takes one little spark…
Even World Showcase got in on the celebration, with these fun signs at the Canada Pavilion showing the moose from “Brother Bear”.
I love the contrast between the hot peppers framing this rather tame message of love and friendship. In Mexico, Valentine’s Day, or Día de San Valentín is known as Día del Amor y la Amistad.
These cute printed signs at Norway feature messages like “I’ve Taken A Viking To You” and “You’re Worth Melting For!”
No props in Germany, but Snow White and her Prince were available by the wishing well for a couple-inspired photo op.
As we wandered throughout the rest of World Showcase, in lieu of photo props, there were cute Valentines offered instead. In the Japan pavilion, these cute origami hearts were being handed out by Cast Members.
Cast Members at the UK Pavilion were giving out these Kidcot cards with a special heart-shaped Union Jack.
In Morocco, Cast Members wrote out “Happy Valentine’s Day” (or so we think) on their Kidcot cards.
But of course, the pièce de résistance was in the France Pavilion, with this amazing craft of the Eiffel Tower dotted with hearts and the words “La Saint Valentin” written out in script.
In honor of Beauty and the Beast (and the newly-premiered Sing-Along at the Palais du Cinema), the tower is topped with the Enchanted Rose.
At the entrance to the park, there’s also this Mickey and Minnie prop!
How are you planning on spending your Valentine’s Day? If you’re at EPCOT, make sure to check out these photo ops!
