We’ve been intently following the back exit corner of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway for the past few weeks now as the area saw the removal of a photo op and the addition of new pavement ahead of the attraction’s grand opening.

If you recall, there is no “exit gift shop” within the Chinese Theatre, as guests simply exit the building after unloading from the attraction. Because of this, an outdoor merchandise kiosk has been added to sell all of the upcoming merchandise for the grand opening of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, and beyond.

The kiosk was installed overnight, and mirrors the same design elements of the Chinese Theatre, with a red, upwards curved Xeishan-style roof and a red awning with yellow accents. Planters currently surround the structure as work continues on finishing the interior of the kiosk.

As opposed to a mobile cart, this addition definitely seems like a permanent one for the attraction, and the kiosk seems fairly large to accommodate a wide range of merchandise, and the guests eager to purchase it all.

A look beneath the awning reveals that the structure will even have integrated lighting built in.
