Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is a completely new type of experience,” says Ann Morrow Johnson, executive producer for Walt Disney Imagineering. “You’re going to live onboard a star cruiser… and you can get wrapped up in the larger Star Wars story.”

Check out this new video below for more from Ann Morrow, as she explains how this galactic adventure will unfold and gives just a taste of what you’ll experience as you live out your own Star Wars story in an entirely new way.

  1. Do you have to wake up at 5am, enter the park
with a ticket plus your whole group and download an app for a 7am lottery just for the chance to make a reservation? How many boarding rooms are there? Will it shut down for half the day when it is cold outside?

  2. I don’t imagine i’m the only one to be concerned about the transit system inducing motion sickness? Bus movement with no reference outside could induce it but having digital windows of space not synced with the bus movements (or unexpected movements like stopping for traffic) will do it REALLY quick.

What’s the over-under for the windows being uncovered on these things within a month?

  3. Way back when, when this Galactic Starcruiser was just a glimmer of a dream, my son and I started saving for this adventure. We took a look at what 3 day cruises cost and then costs for the Starcruiser started to be thrown about. We set a limit of $8,000 to save for. We are almost there!! So WDW, all you have to do is say the word when we can start to make reservations and I will be on line making ours!! This is a dream come true for my adult autistic son. He lives and breathes Star Wars. Now he will have a chance to actually live out his fantasies that he has in his mind daily. I am all to happy to give up many things to save up for this trip so he can experience this. As for me? We have discussed this. Since I am wheelchair bound, I will be his personal droid lol. I too can’t wait to get Batu from the Galactic Starcruiser!! See you there!
