The “Cinderella” 70th anniversary celebration has kicked off at Walt Disney World with no shortage of sweets for the special occasion. Today, we tasted the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo Cake and Cinderella’s Carriage Cake. But there’s yet another new treat to try — this time, at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. So, let’s see how this cake pop measures up.
Cinderella’s 70th Anniversary Carriage Cake Pop is served in this plastic box with a liner, which keeps the cake pop safe if you’re taking it to-go.
What better place to feature the Cinderella cake pop than in front of Cinderella’s horse-drawn carriage? You can see it approaching in the background!
This cake pop is triple chocolate, fresh and massive. It’s an overwhelmingly chocolatey cake pop — much richer than those in the parks.
The wheels are white chocolate discs that don’t fall off, unlike some other Cinderella desserts we’ve seen. It’s also much tastier.
Chocolate lovers will adore this cake pop and really fall in love.
It actually reminded us a lot of the Christmas cake pop you can get at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa’s gingerbread house during the winter holidays.
The cake pop is $8 and can be found at Gasparilla Island Grill. While you can’t use a snack credit for it, know that it’s big enough that you’ll probably need to share it. So it’s well worth the price.
