REVIEW: New Cinderella’s Carriage Cake at Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs is Worthy of Its Own Royal Ball

Walt Disney World has not one, but at least two Cinderella-themed cakes to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the “Cinderella” film. We reviewed the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo Cake this morning, and we’re glad to say we found a much better option elsewhere in Walt Disney World.

This Cinderella’s Carriage Cake is a beautiful blue globe, accented with silver medallions and a crown dusted with silver sparkles.

The cake is vanilla chiffon, with strawberry mousse and a strawberry champagne center.

After digging in, we find out the cake is delicious as it is beautiful. The strawberry mousse is creamy and melts in your mouth. The vanilla cake on the bottom is light and airy.

The gentle, yet delicious, strawberry flavor throughout the cake gets stronger as you move toward the center. There is a strawberry center that is thicker (more like gelatin). The silver fondant accents were were soft and fresh — and easy to eat.

We really enjoyed this perfect-portion cake. The temperature was also perfect as it was nice and cold. We would gladly eat this again!

We found the cake for $9 at Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs.

Which Cinderella cake would you try? This one or the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo Cake?
