REVIEW: Raspberry Tart Returns for a Rootin’ Tootin Treat at Woody’s Lunch Box in Disney’s Hollywood Studios

While Valentine’s Day has already come to Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Woody’s Lunch Box is still showing the love by bringing back an offering from the stand’s early days: the Raspberry Lunch Box Tart!

With pink icing, red candy and pink crispy pearls, this is a blast from the recent past. But is this a welcome return, or should this have stayed in the history books? Let’s find out!

Lunch Box Tarts are always delicious, and this one is the perfect color scheme and flavor for the month of love. These are similar to the Pop’t Art they serve at the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, but of a slightly better quality.

The edges can be a little dry, but the center has a nice, strong raspberry flavor. Make sure you get a drink with this, because you’ll need it. It’s perfectly sweet and not too tart, which you can get with raspberry-flavored things sometimes.

Compared to the versions you can get in the supermarket, you get more filling in these (and at the price, rightfully so!)

Ultimately, this is unremarkable compared to the other Lunch Box Tarts. A crispy pearl fell down my shirt, and retrieving it was the most interesting part of eating the tart.

Still, if you’re a fan of Lunch Box Tarts, you’ll likely enjoy this. They’re chewy and fresh, and a great value for $4.29.

They’re available all day, but they’re absolutely perfect for an early morning treat while waiting for your boarding group for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.

If you’re feeling nostalgic for the far-off days of 2018 (back when the paint at Toy Story Land was still fresh), it’s a neat offering to mark the holiday.
