Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort in South Carolina Temporarily Closing Due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic Concerns

With all of the Disney Vacation Club Resorts at Walt Disney World closing on Friday, it seems the previously-unaffected Hilton Head Island Resort has also joined in on the COVID-19 induced closures.

The resort will close this Friday at 5:00 PM, giving current guests time to arrange emergency travel back home.

Yesterday, DVC released an official statement regarding points and cancelled reservations during this time.

We’ll be keeping our eyes on developments here in Florida and in California, as well as in Paris, and Tokyo, Shanghai, and Hong Kong regarding the COVID-19 outbreak’s effect on Disney Parks operations and beyond.
