It has been announced that the recently-prolonged operating hours for the Walt Disney World Minnie Van service have been extended through March 9th.
This means that up until Monday next week, guests will instead be able to get private, magical transport around the resort from the earlier hour of 5:30 AM. From March 10th, the hours will revert back to the usual schedule posted on the Walt Disney World website of 6:30 AM -12:30 AM.
This extension of hours could be due to a number of reasons, although we’re betting that the crack-of-dawn crowds at Hollywood Studios would have something to do with it! Anyone who has battled with the buses at the resort will agree, the thought of private transport to get you to your destination early enough for a boarding pass sounds divine.

Having been bitten a couple of times running late while trying to use WDW busses (once during wedding planning) I am extremely glad the Minivan service is doing well. We’ve only used the Minivans a couple of times. It turned a stressful, time constrained rush to get to reservations for Flying Fish and another time to meet a relative at Disney Springs into zero problem happy times. It’s not for everyone at all times, especially considering the extra $, but when it’s needed it’s wonderful to have.
