Along with all off the other new merchandise releases we’re seeing for the grand opening of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, we’ve gotten our first look at a new Ear Hat coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios on March 4th just for the debut.
The ears are likely part of the Disney Parks Designer Collection series, designed by Imagineer Kevin Rafferty himself! The hat features Mickey and Minnie sitting atop a picnic blanket, with the Runnamuck Railroad and conductor Goofy zooming by along the bottom edge. On the ears, light-up fireworks will illuminate the night after a long day of waiting stand-by for the new attraction.
No pricing has been released for these ears, but they’re expected to drop with the rest of the Runaway Railway collection on March 4th.
Is there a particular time of day that the Disney Designer Collection ears go on sale on their release dates? For example, limited edition dolls usually become available at 7am PT on the day of their release.
