After an unforeseen delay, the Spike the Bee Passholder MagicBand has finally buzzed its way into Walt Disney World. We would have expected this to be available at the start of the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival with the debut of the rest of the merchandise, but for whatever reason, be it manufacturing delays or otherwise, that wasn’t the case.

As this “launch” falls on the day that Walt Disney World is set to close for an extended period of Flower & Garden, this could become one of those random, highly sought-after items. This will, of course, be available while supplies last. Taking into account the uniqueness of the park’s closing, some may be unable to pick one up, though any left overs will likely be still available once the parks reopen.

The mustard-colored box features Spike the Bee causing Donald some not-so-appreciated angst.

Various silhouettes of Spaceship Earth, as well as various pavilions around World Showcase, appear on the side of the band.

If you are in the park today, head over to Mouse Gear and snag one before the park closes tonight. They are available for $34.99 and again, are limited edition of only 2,000.
