If you hear the sound of that whip cracking, it must mean only one thing, Indiana Jones. Indiana Jones Adventure in Adventureland at Disneyland is celebrating its 25th anniversary with the release of two brand new t-shirts.

Indiana Jones gives us the creed to live our lives for, “Adventure, Fortune & Glory.” We can see the idol front and center on the shirt, which would that be, adventure or fortune or glory?

We can see Indy with his famous hat on, ready to disarm his enemies with the crack of his whip. Indiana Jones Adventure is featured prominently on the army green shirt with the opening date of 1995 centered on the back.

This will be a popular shirt for Annual Passholders that want to commemorate the event. As a Passholder myself, I would love to pick one of these up, Indiana Jones Adventure is my favorite rides in all of Disneyland. What about you? Which Disneyland ride is your favorite? Let me know in the comments!

  1. I am not a passholder, but I would sure like to get a shirt for myself and my husband. We were married in October of 1994. About a month later, my husband heard about a radio contest at an Indianapolis mall to see who was the real Indiana Jones. The caveat was to compete your last name had to be Jones and you had to be from Indiana.

To make a long story short, we were one of two families who won an all expense paid trip to Disneyland in March 1995 to be a part of the Parade of Joneses to help open up the ride. We took my sister Christa, and Brandon’s daughter, Kristen, who was five.

We rode on a huge float down Main Street in Disneyland with 500 other California Jones Families in front of us. It was lots of fun.

Our local paper ran a front page story about our trip upon our return. Disney had sent a press kit out to Greenfield with a picture of us on the float.

Brandon and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary this past fall. Kristen is now 30 and has kids of her own, and we have two additional daughters.

Our marriage has definitely been an Indiana Jones adventure – since we are Indiana Joneses. The one and only time we were at Disneyland was in March 1995. However, we have visited Disney World a couple of times when our younger girls were little.

If these shirts ever go on the market. I would certainly be interested.
