This year, we have the return of our favorite host for our tour around World Showcase for the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. It’s Spike the Bee! Spike has been popping up in festival merchandise all over EPCOT, and he’s back this year for “Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration 2020.”
As the sign points out, for $7.99 you can pick up a Pollen-Nation Exploration map at specific merchandise locations around EPCOT.
The point of the scavenger hunt is to find Spike the Bee at each garden location on the map. There is a sticker page on the back of the map. Whether you choose to play along and find Spike the Bee in every location or not, you are still entitled to a prize.
Simply bring back your map to a merchandise location and you will be entitled to a “surprise” of one of these four Flower & Garden themed cups.
The first of the four plastic cups has our scavenger hunt leader Spike the Bee pestering Donald Duck. The cup is seafoam green with a dandelion yellow interior.
Next we have Orange Bird touting his new orange marmalade jam. This bright yellow background with and deep orange interior will go well with all your other Orange Bird collectables.
Minnie is “In Bloom” riding her bike leisurely through the gardens of Flower & Garden. The pink interior of the cup pops against the white, flower accented background.
Lastly, we have Mickey prepping all of his new vegetables for the farmer’s market. Watermelons, tomatoes, and avocados abound across this sky blue cup with a white interior.
Which of the four cups will you be taking home with you after spotting Spike the Bee around the park? Let us know in the comments!
I’ll take a Donald cup. They look to be about juice cup size not impractical for my every day use though.
