Pixar’s “Onward” Coming to Disney+ on April 3rd; Available Tonight on Digital Download

Pixar fans, rejoice! It’s time to take a quest over to the sofa with the whole family (okay, maybe 10 of you max) and enjoy Pixar’s new film, “Onward”, coming to Disney+ on April 3rd!

“Onward” will also be available starting tonight for digital download.

This is the second early release to come to Disney+ in the wake of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic’s negative effect on movie releases. “Frozen 2” was also released about three months early and is now available on Disney+. While Onward had a winning streak at the box office, it was one of the worst releases for Pixar historically.

It’s time to settle in, stay home, and enjoy some movies!

  1. Cool. We had been wanting to go see Onward but now can’t because of the theaters being closed. I hope they also release “Call of the Wild” early on Disney+ – many of us just do not go opening weekend to movies, preferring to go much later in the theatrical run when shows get less crowded, etc. And now we probably waited too long on that one (but I’m glad we weren’t out in public for health reasons), but hopefully it will appear online soon.
