With the re-painting of Cinderella Castle having begun as part of its transformation, performances of Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire have shifted to evenings at the Magic Kingdom, offering a rare nighttime backdrop for the stage show.
With painting work typically ending at 5 PM (and the cranes moving away at that time), the show currently performs nightly at 5:15 PM, 6:30 PM, and 7:30 PM. Additional performances are set to be added in if time allows. You can expect this schedule to continue through the end of the castle makeover, which is set to finish at the end of the summer season.
The rare nighttime look does make the show feel a little more special, much like the castle stage shows at the park’s after-hours holiday events.
The musical stage spectacular features Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy as they meet characters from The Princess and the Frog, Tangled, and Frozen in a celebration of friendship!
Of course, if you want to see even more of this temporarily nighttime spectacular, be sure to check out our full video below!
