Many guests with Walt Disney World vacations in mid-May are holding on to those reservations until ultimately met with a cancellation email. In line with recent reports of cancellations through May 16, it seems Walt Disney World Resort has removed park hours through May 9 on their website as well as on the My Disney Experience app.
Park calendars are set up months in advance, so we’ll be seeing the removal of park hours as the extended closure continues in phases.
Currently, no park hours are listed from today through May 9.
The first set of hours available starts on Sunday, May 10. Do note that this is not indicative of a “new” potential reopening date.
Walt Disney World Resort remains closed until further notice, and a reopening date has not yet been identified. You can check park hour calendars by clicking here.
All my FastPasses for May are gone… Oh well, we held onto them in hope but that is now gone
When we’re your dates? We have 5/15 still
In the app…
So far, our reservations for a Disney property hotel and Fast Passes are still there for the end of May. We don’t expect that to last. That is ok, we will try another time. We rather them be cautious then reckless. Yes, it makes us sad as we are a family group from 3 different areas, but again we still rather Disney keep safety first.
They cancelled all mine through 5/9/20 as well and my dining. We end our vacation on 5/13 so at that point I knew it was looking grim. I tried calling to see if they could bump us over a few days and they tried and the system would not allow them to do that. :( So I rebooked for later in the year. Couldn’t get my ohana dining all full no matter day or time of our new vacation.
I’m even wondering if they’ll have their act together when we go in mid Sept. at this point.
