While right now, all we’re looking forward to are socially-distanced strolls through Disney Springs, but soon we’ll be able to pick up some refreshing iced coffee at their newly-remodeled Starbucks.
A permit has been filed indicating a “tenant remodel” of the stand-alone Starbucks located in Disney Springs’ West Side. The Starbucks opened back in 2014 as part of the Downtown Disney-to-Disney Springs transformation.
The contractor in charge of the work is Elfrink Custom Construction, the Florida-based construction company that also brought us the Starbucks window kiosk by the Marketplace section of Disney Springs.
It is unknown whether the Starbucks will have to temporarily close for a period of time during the remodel, or if it remains open, how operations will be impacted. The Starbucks kiosk in the Marketplace was not mentioned in the permit, so it may act as a backup location while work is being done. Both Starbucks location were open right up until the closure of Disney Springs due to the COVID-19 shutdown, albeit with pickup-only.
