If you’ve been keeping an eye on Hong Kong Disneyland news, you know that their castle is currently being transformed from Sleeping Beautys Castle to the Castle of Magical Dreams. Despite the closure of all Disney theme parks and the halting of construction at domestic parks, work has continued on the Castle of Magical Dreams. While we’re waiting for the new castle to be revealed, our friends at the Hong Kong Main St. Gazette have discovered a new PatcheD product featuring the castle.

Hong Kong Disneyland’s castle transformation was first announced at D23 Expo 2019, and was planned to be completed this year as part of the park’s 15th anniversary celebration. The Castle of Magical Dreams draws inspiration from 13 Disney princesses and heroines. Below is a breakdown of how each spire reflects a different character.
The concept art of the castle is certainly beautiful and we can’t wait to see the finished product.
The new Castle of Magical Dreams patch can be found at the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel, which remains open with limited services during the park’s closure.
