Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Jambo House Reopening to Only Disney Vacation Club Guests with Few Amenities Starting July 10th
In the continuing saga that is the status of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Jambo House, there’s been another change. You may remember that on June 21st, we broke the list and dates for the remaining Walt Disney World Resorts to reopen, and Jambo House was included and set to reopen on July 10th.
Then on June 25th, there was an update that removed Disney’s Animal Kingdom – Jambo House from the list of resorts that would be opening, with no date listed. At that point, Jambo House then joined Disney’s All-Star Resorts (Movies, Music & Sports), Disney’s Port Orleans Resort (French Quarter & Riverside), and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge as having neither a scheduled reopening date nor 2021 availability.
Well, today we bring you a new update that Disney’s Animal Kingdom – Jambo House will be saying “Jambo” to Disney Vacation Club Guests only starting July 10th, which was the original reopening date for the resort.
However, there are a few important details about the reopening. Outside of Guests being able to use the check-in area and the pool area at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Jambo House, nothing else on this side of the resort will be open.
What does this mean? For Guests wanting to shop, dine, or use any of the resort amenities, they will have to either walk or take the complimentary resort shuttle over to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Kidani Village.
Of course, follow along with us at WDWNT as we continue to cover the Disney Parks reopening around the world.
