Sadly, it looks like guests won’t be able to say “Jambo!” to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Jambo House any time soon.
The resort has been removed from Walt Disney World’s listing of reopening resorts, effectively cancelling its previously announced July 10th reopening.
Furthermore, the resort has also been removed from the listing of resorts accepting reservations for 2021. Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village remains available.
Currently the resort joins Disney’s All-Star Resorts (Movies, Music & Sports) , Disney’s Port Orleans Resort (French Quarter & Riverside), Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, and the non-Disney Vacation Club sections of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge as having neither scheduled reopening date nor 2021 availability.
No reason for the change has been announced. Keep reading WDWNT as we learn more about the phased reopening of Walt Disney World’s resort hotels.
Wonder if All Star Music will be open by November, got a reservation there for Nov 16.
My guess is that they have decided to finish the renovations for all these hotels without guests.
most of those resorts have already recently been renovated , we stayed a few over the past 3 years.
Does someone have any ideas why they’re not opening Riverside or The French Quarter?
