In addition to the new “The Incredibles” themed health and safety reminders that will welcome guests back to Walt Disney World, the social distancing team (formerly Resort Activities Counselors) is being renamed into The Incredi-Crew!
Not only will these Cast Members be getting cool new colorblock face masks, they’ll also be donning bright new shirts so they look their Incredible best. Disney has released the following photo showing off their new look:
Cast Members will help promoting easy-to-share health and safety tips, led by the Incredi-Crew. You can identify Incredi-Crew Cast Members by their cheerful yellow shirts and bright blue face coverings.
The Incredi-Crew has already taken to the streets at Disney Springs, explaining new procedures, answering guest questions, and encouraging everyone to follow these measures for the health and safety of everyone.
As the squad expands to other locations, they’ll be a great resource for safety procedures, questions about mask use and physical distancing. The Icredi-Crew (formerly and possibly later returning to their roles as cast members running games and movies for kids of all ages at Walt Disney World Hotels) are the perfect choice for this current role. They are naturally outgoing, and always have smiles on their faces. I don’t envy them their current role I(as a casino manager in Nevada, I’ve experienced just how tough it is to get people to follow the COVID-19-era rules), but I am confident that they are the right people for the job.
Great idea to deter the spitters and the purposely coughing jerks ! They can spit and cough with intent to harm then enjoy getting banned from Disney as a consequence. Cast Members can at least be a little more protected now from that abuse. Sorry, “coughing Karen” you’ll have to throw your tantrum sonewhere else! Have a Magical Day!🤣
