Magic Mirror on the wall. Which is the fairest candy store of them all? Disney’s Candy Cauldron, of course, located on the West Side of Disney Springs. The store has reopened today for the first time since the COVID-19 closures, and we went inside to take a look at all the tasty treats on offer, alongside the new precautions in place to ensure guest safety post-pandemic.

Leading up to the entrance, social distancing markers have been placed on the floor to encourage guests to queue up responsibly. Candy Cauldron isn’t the biggest store, and since it only has one small doorway, very few guests will be allowed in at any time.

Upon entering the store, guests are greeted by a cast member, as well as a hand sanitizer dispenser.

Many of the store’s centerpieces have been removed to allow for more space within the location.

A sugary sight! Pre-packaged candy and snacks are fully stocked and available for purchase.

The Pick-and-Mix station is still operating as a self-serve, and a cast member has been regularly wiping it down with sanitizer.

It looks like only one of the treat display cabinets has been filled, presumably since today is the store’s first day of operation. However, favorites such as candy apples, fudge, cookies and Rice Krispy treats are still available.

To encourage social distancing, markers have been placed on the ground leading up to the counter. One register has also been closed.

Cashless payment options can be used at this store, and are recommended to limit contact.

Candy Cauldron is one of many stores that reopened today, nearly completing the lineup of Disney-owned and operated locations at Disney Springs. Also reopened now is Goofy’s Candy Co., Disney Pin Traders, DisneyStyle, and more.
