There’s a magical little place in Disney Springs where Christmas can be celebrated all year ’round. Unfortunately, COVID-19 closures left us without that festive cheer for far too long. Now, we’re thrilled to report that Disney’s Days of Christmas store has now reopened at Disney Springs, and we went to check out all the ornaments, tinsel, tidings and social distancing precautions it has to offer.

Disney’s Days of Christmas is located in the Marketplace area of Disney Springs, instantly recognizable by all the trimmings hanging outside.

Upon entering the store, cast members are on hand to greet guests and welcome them back. As we have seen across the other stores in Disney Springs, a Purell hand sanitizing station is present, along with bold signage to remind guests of the all-important health and safety guidelines.

Also at the store entrance is a roped-off queue area, which helps to direct the flow of traffic within the shop.

Disney’s Days of Christmas is definitely one of the more spacious stores in Disney Springs, with a spread-out floor plan which naturally supports the new social distancing guidelines.

One of the popular draws to this store is the option for personalization on purchased items, including baubles and ornaments. This service is still being offered as normal. At the register, we can see clear plexiglass screens have been mounted to the desk to help protect both the guests and the cast members. Also, markers encouraging guests to social distance while waiting in line have been set out across the floor.

The range of ornaments and holiday decorations at Disney’s Days of Christmas is always a beautiful sight.

We can’t forget the Hanukkah offerings!

Not all registers in the store are open, presumably for social distancing maintenance, along with the need for cast members to help manage the shop floor.

We love these festive plush on display, particularly Birthday Stitch.

The barriers at this register work alongside the floor markings to ensure the line weaves to the right of the desk, keeping the shop floor managed efficiently.

Heading to the back of the store, we can see that only one register is operating here, too. This part of the store is where guests can purchase merchandise from the Walt Disney World 2020 collection, and also exit the store.

There’s also plenty of “Nightmare Before Christmas” merchandise on offer, for those among us who prefer Halloween over the holidays!
