BREAKING: Halloween Horror Nights Cancelled Due to COVID-19 Pandemic Concerns at Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood
Universal Orlando Resort has revealed that Halloween Horror Nights has officially been cancelled at Universal Studios Florida. The event is also cancelled at the still-shuttered Universal Studios Hollywood due to ongoing concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic. This is the first time that Universal Orlando Resort will go without the popular event in 30 years.

Why are you canceling Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando? We have made the difficult decision to cancel Halloween Horror Nights this year so we can focus exclusively on operating our theme parks for daytime guests, using the enhanced health and safety procedures already in place. If I purchased the “Buy an Event Night, Get a Second Event Night Free” offer and choose to use it for next year’s event, will I still get to visit on two event nights in 2021? If I purchased a vacation package with tickets to Halloween Horror Nights, can I still use it to visit Universal Orlando and receive a refund for just my Halloween Horror Nights tickets? Our hearts go out to all of the die-hard Halloween Horror Nights fans who were looking forward to their event this year, as well as the hundreds of Scare Actors who will no longer be able to show off their talents at the event this year.
