Annual Passholder previews have begun at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, which means it’s time once again to “rise to the challenge” on Avatar Flight of Passage!
We spotted a Cast Member cleaning and sanitizing the test vehicle in front of the entrance.
As we’ve seen elsewhere, enhanced safety measures have been put in place due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Below, queue dividers have been erected at certain points.
As we enter the pre-show rooms, a Cast Member hands out flight visors (otherwise known as 3-D glasses).
Social distancing markers have been placed to separate parties, though it does partially cover some of the pre-existing numbered markers.
The doors to the first pre-show remain open, with the video from the second pre-show playing in both areas.
Once you’re safely distanced, you can begin the preparations to… uh, fly.
Flight visors are collected in bins at the end, before they’re sanitized and reused. There’s also a handy sanitizer dispenser nearby.
