Disney’s Hollywood Studios has finally reopened to guests, and exploring the most A-list park after four months away sure is thirsty work! To take a break, we popped into BaseLine Tap House, located on Grand Avenue. While we sip our beer, let’s see what new health and safety updates have been made in the brewery…
This “cheery corner pub” looks particularly popular today, with many guests sitting outside under the big red parasols.
As we enter the establishment, a hand sanitizer dispenser is available for guests to use. On the ground, new floor markers have been set in place to show guests where to wait as they queue. BaseLine isn’t the largest venue, so mindful social distancing is a must.
The inside seating has been dramatically reduced in this tap house, as the window bar area has been marked as unavailable, most likely due to its close proximity to the queue.
There is seating available to the left of the bar, however.
At the register, plexiglas dividers have been installed to help protect Cast Members and guests. Stickers on these screens remind guests that contactless payment is accepted here, being the preferred option due to its touch-free processing.
More hand sanitizer is available next to the cutlery and napkin dispensers, which are still self-serve.
It is good to see Cast Members keeping their workspace clean!
Outside the pub, more floor markers show guests where to line up if the restaurant has reached capacity. Outdoor seating is still available but limited, with blocked-off tables to ensure social distancing is adhered to.
Will you be visiting BaseLine Tap House on your next visit to Disney’s Hollywood Studios? You can read up on all of our food reviews from the location here. We also went to check out other restaurants in the park, including Oga’s Cantina, and Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo.
