After a months-long hiatus, The Dino Institute has once again opened its doors at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and that means it’s time for some prehistoric adventure on DINOSAUR!
Good to see you again, Aladar!
While FastPass+ isn’t currently available, social distancing markers have been set up at both entrances.
Inside, markers are found only in the standby queue.
Hey, that dinosaur’s not wearing a face mask!
The markers continue as you enter the pre-show theater.
Inside the pre-show theater, more markers and cordoned-off tape create a makeshift queue as the video plays and Dr. Seeker gives us our mission! Guests are free to walk past this if they’d like to skip the pre-show.
After that, it’s time to head to our Time Rover!
Markers lead down to the loading bay.
The middle rows on the Time Rovers have been sectioned off for social distancing.
On-board, Plexiglas screens separate the front and back rows.
So, who’s up for a trans-dimensional joyride?
Spoiler alert: we made it… and found more social distancing markers and Plexiglas windows at The Dino Institute Shop.
And with that, our time-travelling mission is complete.
All across Disney’s Animal Kingdom new procedures have been put into place for attractions, like turning off water effects for Kali River Rapids or adding hand sanitizing stations outside Na’vi River Journey. Despite all of the changes that have come to our favorite attractions, we’re thrilled to be back in the Walt Disney World theme parks and we’re having a great time!
