The message posted on their Facebook page is below:

Friends of POP Gallery,

This July 30th, 2020, POP Gallery at Disney Springs will close its doors.

Fifteen years ago, as a follow-up to HoyPoloi “An Uncommon Gallery” at Downtown Disney’s West Side (1997-2015), POP Gallery at Disney Springs opened upon invitation of Disney Senior V.P, Bud Dare. At THE WALT DISNEY WORLD RESORT, POP Gallery has had the privilege to inspire millions of visitors from all over the world to become art lovers and art collectors.

Although our doors are closing, we are excited to announce our new online gallery. POP Gallery & Hoypoloi Gallery are combining to launch a new website where we will continue to showcase new releases, gallery exclusives, one-of-a-kind artists works, as well as rare pieces from our archives, and more. We invite you to continue your love of art and our artists on our new website from the convenience of wherever you are.

On behalf of POP Gallery and all the team, thank you for fifteen amazing years of doing what we love, and the opportunity to share it with you, our POP Gallery family. We look forward to seeing you online, and here’s to continuing the magic!

Sincerely yours, The POP Gallery team

The POP Gallery’s closure doesn’t come as much surprise as we’ve been following its constant construction work at Disney Springs. This is likely going to be the new location for Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew, based on recent permits and construction in the area. The closure of POP Gallery seems to support this as well.

Will you be stopping into the POP Gallery one last time before July 30? Let us know in the comments.

  1. Devastated. This completes the move to brands you can find in many, many places instead of only at Disney. My favorite shop in all of Downtown Disney/Disney Springs ahas always been Hoi Poloi/ Pop Gallery
