*NEW* Gourmet Macaroni and Cheese with Boursin® Garlic and Fine Herbs Cheese topped with Herbed Panko – $4.50
Like all of the mac & cheese offerings here, we were impressed with the large portion size. Taste-wise, we thought it was just fine. It didn’t really have the goat cheese taste that Boursin usually offers.
In the end, it’s just a plain macaroni and cheese. It’s good, and probably a decent option for picky eaters, but it’s just plain.
*NEW* Buffalo Chicken Macaroni and Cheese with Boursin® Garlic and Fine Herbs Cheese Sauce topped with Carrots, Celery, and Blue Cheese Crumbles – $5.50
This one wasn’t bad, but it was far from the best buffalo chicken mac and cheese we’ve had on Walt Disney World property.
Ultimately, it was mediocre. The sauce was runnier than the rest of the offerings at this Marketplace. You can probably find better options here.
*NEW* Lobster Macaroni and Cheese with Boursin® Garlic and Fine Herbs Cheese Sauce and Lobster Cream topped with Herbed Panko – $6.50
This offering proved polarizing; one member of our team liked it, but no one else did.
We found it to have an extremely fishy taste, which is not what we want in a lobster dish. The lobster was also rubbery, which threw off the texture.
This one isn’t worth your time or money.
*NEW* Macaroni and Cheese with House-made Italian Sausage and Peppers – $5.50
This was far and away the best offering here. It’s an absolute standout.
The plant-based Italian sausage is excellent. It’s spicy without being too hot. If the signage hadn’t told us, we would’ve never known it was plant-based.
The macaroni and cheese has a very good consistency. This one’s a winner!
*NEW* Stiegl Brewery Radler Zitrone, Salzburg, Austria (2.0% ABV) – $4.50 (6 oz) & $8.50 (12 oz)
Stiegl Brewery describes their beer as “Best Stiegl-Goldbräu blended with lemonade made with real lemon juice” with “a sparkling, invigorating taste” and “delicate hints of citrus and [a] fresh aroma.”
*NEW* L’Ecole No. 41 Chenin Blanc Old Vines, Columbia Valley, WA ($15/bottle) – $6.00
From L’Ecole: “This fresh and vibrant Chenin Blanc shows highly expressive aromatics of citrus blossom, passion fruit, slate and stone fruit with flavors of yellow apple on a crisp mineral finish.”
*NEW* Evolution by Sokol Blosser Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley, OR ($20/bottle) – $5.00
From Sokol Blosser: “This wine exhibits aromas and flavors of bright red and jammy fruit characteristics, pie cherry and a hint of toasty oak. In the nose, this food friendly pinot noir expresses notes of chocolate covered cherries, rose petal, and a hint of baking spice. The mouthfeel is round and rich at first sip with some good tannins which soften with acidity in its long finish.”
