Universal Orlando Resort Pulls Retro “Fright Nights” Merchandise From Online Shop Over Year Misprint

Universal Orlando Resort has pulled several items from its Halloween Horror Nights “30 Years 30 Fears” collection over an incorrect date misprinted on the merchandise.

The items pulled were all themed to “Fright Nights,” the original name of the Halloween Horror Nights event. The year on the merchandise was listed as 1990, however, Fright Nights was actually held in 1991. The event was renamed Halloween Horror Nights the following year.

Socks, shot glasses, and posters from 1992’s Halloween Horror Nights, 1999’s Halloween Horror Nights IX and 2000’s Halloween Horror Nights X remain on the store webpage.

The artwork features classic Universal Studios Monsters, including Dracula, Frankenstein, the Wolf Man, the Bride of Frankenstein, the Mummy, and the Creature from the Black Lagoon. Halloween Horror Nights 30 is scheduled to take place this Fall.
