BREAKING: After-Hours Fireworks Testing Taking Place at EPCOT on September 23

On Wednesday, September 23, there will be fireworks testing on World Showcase Lagoon at EPCOT. Testing is expected to conclude prior to midnight that evening. During this test, fireworks will be launched inside the park.

Guests currently staying at select on-site resorts are being advised that they might hear loud noises from their rooms during this test.

Typically, testing takes place before the debut of new fireworks, however an official start date for “Harmonious” has not been released, nor have nighttime spectaculars returned to Walt Disney World due to current COVID-19 health and safety guidelines.

With permits filed for the show, work is well underway for “Harmonious”. Stay tuned for more updates on fireworks and the return of nighttime spectaculars to Walt Disney World here on WDWNT.

  1. I really, REALLY want to see Disney fireworks, with Disney music and thrill, soon! I need it to help me heal after a nightmare year.
